Birds at the Birdbath

Ages ago, I bought some structure paste to use in my crafts. I hadn't really done anything with it until yesterday, when I decided to use it for stencilling. I had a pretty brass stencil that I thought would cope with the paste and I am really happy with the result. It is a bit like buttering a piece of bread and is lots of fun to do.

  1. Buttering a piece of bread?? Do tell - instructions, please! I have several books of stencils but haven't done much with them apart from looking at them :-) But I have used some stencils I got from Pinterest, printed them off onto sheet music paper. Looks great, and have already used one to make a card for a girlfriend who is a jazz fan. Have you ever used paint colour sample cards in your crafting? If you go to my arts and craft blog, I've just posted what I've been doing with them.

  2. Hi Gina, thanks so much for stopping by. Yes, I can certainly give you the instructions as I have now made two YouTube tutorials. If you click on the above post, it will take you to my YouTube channel. I will pop over to your blog now to check out what you have been up to :)

  3. Hi Linda, thanks for your replies here and on my blog - isn't it nice to know that some of us haven't deserted blogging in favour of facebook! I will have a look at your Tutorials in a minute - well done, and nice to see you 'in person':-)

Thank you so much for popping in to visit my blog ♥
